A one-hour edition of the hit musical, specially tailored for young actors! Plunge into this stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show! When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world!
REHEARSAL AND PRODUCTION DATES/DETAILS:
This production is open to young performers Grades 5 – Age 18 and on a case by case basis some younger students may be admitted.
Rehearsals will begin February 10. Rehearsals will take place weekday evenings and weekends during the day. There will be at least one day off a week and no one will be called to every single rehearsal. Please come prepared to list any conflicts from February 10-March 12.
The production will take place at The Firehouse Theatre. The production dates are March 13-16, 2025. Friday at 7:30PM, Saturday at 2:30PM and 7:30 PM, and Sunday at 2:30 and 7:00PM.
The tuition for this production will be $400. Need-based scholarships are available and can be applied for at this link: Need Based Scholarship Application. Scholarship applications must be filled out before auditions/casting. Please note that The Firehouse does NOT require parent volunteer hours, nor a minimum of tickets purchased/sold. There may be some costume requests (such as shoes or other basics), but the vast majority of costume pieces will be provided. Additionally, each family is given two complimentary tickets.
