The Firehouse Theatre’s goal is to RESPECT EVERYONE where they are at this very moment in their journey through this “new normal” and provide a SAFE and WELCOMING EXPERIENCE. We have been fortunate to reopen and share live theatre in-person with great support from our audience and with the guidance of local, state, and national government agencies.
With the revised policy recommendations from the CDC and Dallas County’s Clay Jenkins, effective immediately, masks are optional for our audience members. While masks will be optional, we will continue to strongly encourage our patrons to wear them. If the situation changes, we may make adjustments to our protocols.
Masking
Face coverings are recommended for your safety and for the well-being of our staff, volunteers, cast, and musicians.
Contactless Tickets
All tickets are emailed directly to you digitally but are not required for check-in. You will check in a volunteer upon entry by simply giving your name.
Audience Capacities
We are currently limiting attendees to 80%-100% of full capacity based on the type of show and other factors. Due to higher capacity levels, you may be seated directly next to or in front/back of other patrons. If you ever feel uncomfortable, please see an usher to be reseated or refunded.
Cleaning Protocols
The building will be deep-cleaned and disinfected throughout the season, and we will maintain a rigorous cleaning schedule on a regularly scheduled basis. Hand sanitizer is placed throughout the venue. High-touch areas, including countertops, and door handles are cleaned and sanitized regularly. The theatre has also installed HEPA filters for air purification and circulation.
Concessions
Food and beverage options will be available before each performance and during intermission. Food and beverages purchased at concessions are permitted inside the theatre, in the lobby, or on the patio (weather permitting).
