Firehouse Theatre University presents an exciting 10 Day Intensive culminating with five performances on The Firehouse Theatre’s MainStage. A Year with Frog & Toad is designed for actors in grades 4-12 and will be cast exclusively with Intensive participants. The show has 15+ named character roles for all kinds of young actors!
We are thrilled to announce Ashley Kate Adams is returning to lead, direct, and choreograph this production. Based in New York, Ashley Kate is an award-winning actress, producer, best selling author, and educator who led our successful 2021 production of Godspell JR.
Two treasured characters from Arnold Lobel’s beloved books hop from page to stage in this whimsical story of friendship and adventure! Waking from hibernation in the Spring, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding, and learn life lessons along the way. The two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special. Part vaudeville, part make-believe… all charm, A Year with Frog and Toad tells the story of a friendship that endures throughout the seasons.
